How does real-time collaboration work?
BudgetGate uses SignalR to show who is currently viewing each budget and broadcasts line-level edits to everyone connected. Locked budgets require formal change requests that go through approval — so you always know who changed what.
Is my data safe? Where is it stored?
Yes. All data is stored in EU data centers (PostgreSQL in Frankfurt). BudgetGate is GDPR-compliant, encrypted at rest and in transit, and meets all requirements of the Danish Bogføringsloven. Your e-conomic grant tokens are encrypted with a per-tenant key.
Can I export budgets to PDF or Excel for my board?
Yes. BudgetGate generates board-ready PDF reports with hero metrics, waterfall charts, variance analysis, and AI commentary. You can also export to Excel for further analysis, or write the final budget back to e-conomic via their Budgets API v2.0.0.
